Raised with songs her whole life, Louise Goffin has been songwriting since she was eight. Born in Brooklyn, New York, and raised in LA’s Laurel Canyon during its music halcyon days, Louise is a singer-songwriter, recording artist, multi-instrumentalist, record producer and podcast host. She released her debut album on Elektra/Asylum when she was 19, and has since released nine further solo albums on major labels ranging from Elektra/ Asylum, Warner Bros., and Dreamworks to independent releases on her Majority of One imprint.

She has opened for Don Henley and her mother Carole King (with whom she sings the theme song for the TV show Gilmore Girls) and has performed with Tears For Fears, Bryan Ferry, David Gilmore, Stevie Nicks, and Donovan, amongst many others. You can find her on YouTube singing alongside Brian Wilson and Kate Bush (Spirit of The Forest, 1989). She has lived in England, and is now based in Los Angeles and Yucca Valley.
