Peter K. Steinberg is an archivist and the author of nearly two dozen essays on Sylvia Plath. He has published five books, with a sixth accepted for publication: The Prose of Sylvia Plath (editor, 2023); The Collected Writings of Assia Wevill (co-editor, 2021, winner of the Susan Koppelman Award for the Best Anthology, Multi-Authored, or Edited book in Feminist Studies issued by the Popular Culture Association); The Letters of Sylvia Plath, Volumes 1 and 2 (co-editor, 2017, 2018); These Ghostly Archives: The Unearthing of Sylvia Plath (co-author, 2017); and the biography Sylvia Plath (2004), a book marketed for younger readers. Steinberg maintained a website for Sylvia Plath, A celebration, this is, from 1998 to 2022; and the Sylvia Plath Info Blog from 2007 to 2022.
