Sasha is an award-winning writer across film, television, radio and theatre. She is currently adapting Max Porters award winning book Lanny into a film for BBC Films. For TV, she is also adapting Sophie Morgan’s groundbreaking book Driving Forwards for The Bureau. Sasha is the creator and lead writer of CBBC’s Emmy-nominated, hit returning series of Enid Blyton’s Malory Towers. Her original feature Mrs Smith’s Second Coming was developed with the BFI and is set to be her directorial debut. Other recent work includes lead writer on adaptation of The Moonstone (BBC mini-series) and lead writer on Netflix/Nutopia 6 part series The Last Stars.

She has recently written episodes of Belgravia, (Carnival), Midwich Cuckoos, (HBO/SKY) and  Versailles (Canal +) and additional material on The Crown (Netflix, Leftbank). Sasha was BAFTA nominated and won a BBC Production Award and a Sexual Health Award for her Casualty episode about FGM.

Her first play, Possession, played to great acclaim at the Arcola Theatre this summer and was nominated for a debut stage award. She has a further commission from the Arcola and is in residency at the National Theatre on a new play.
