Online Writing Week: Poetry
Poetry and its Hinterland
Gaps, mysteries and unanswered questions in history are a gift for the writer. In this Masterclass, Tania Hershman takes as her starting point the lives of the women the history books left out. From the thrilling to the disturbing, you will delve together into the stories of some extraordinary characters, using inspiring prompts to stimulate fresh ideas, whether you’re writing creative non-fiction, poetry, fiction or flash. The session is open to all, and suitable for beginners as well as experienced writers.
This recording is part of Tania Hershman’s Autumn/Winter residency at Arvon, a bloc of programming curated by Tania. It will be available to watch at your convenience. Please see the ‘Access’ tab for information on how to find it.
